Apple's latest US-made Mac Pro up for grabs at $2,999

Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the Mac Pro has begun rolling off the lines in Austin, Texas and has been made available starting today in Apple Stores and on the Apple website.

According to ABC News, the latest hi-end computer's design is drastically different than its predecessors as it measures little less than 10 inches and its cylindrical shape makes it look more like a futuristic coffee mug than a computer.

The Mac Pro has been assembled in the US, unlike many of the tech giant's other products, most of which are assembled in China.

The latest computer consists of a top-notch hardware that outclasses all other Mac models as the basic Mac Pro includes the latest quad-core Intel Xeon E5 processor, 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage space.

The 6-core processor Mac Pro model, priced 3,999 dollars, is notches more powerful and both the models can be customized for up to a 12-core processor, 64 GB of memory and 1TB of storage.

The report said that the new Mac Pros can up to three separate 4K displays or six Thunderbolt displays that is great for heavy video or graphic work but the displays aren't included in the almost three thousand dollar price tag as only the power cord is supplied with the Mac Pro and rest needs to be purchased separately.
