Washington: BlackBerry has reportedly announced that its BBM instant messaging service would soon be preloaded on a phone by LG Electronics.
The sinking smartphone manufacturer recently extended its BBM service on third-party devices and within a day of its release on Android and iOS platforms, the app hit more than 10 million downloads.
According to AllThingsD, the BBM software is expected to come preinstalled on the LG G Pro Lite phone in various markets around the world.
The popular BBM service had been exclusive to BlackBerry owners for sending texts charge-free.
